Is looking after yourself always the first thing to fall off your to-do list? Do you promise yourself you'll get back into exercise, cook more often or finally start getting a decent night's sleep?
Between work, family, household chores and everything else demanding your attention, there's always something else to do. Life changes, too. The routines that once worked brilliantly don't always fit the life you're living now. Things slip, good intentions get pushed aside and getting back into it all can feel surprisingly daunting, especially when you're not quite sure where to start.
The frustrating thing is, you know how much better you could feel. You've felt it before. That brilliant buzz when you're full of energy, in a great mood and feel like you could take on the world. Wouldn't it be lovely to feel like that more often?
Think what a difference that could make. Waking up feeling refreshed rather than reaching straight for another coffee. Having the energy to enjoy your evenings instead of collapsing on the sofa. Feeling stronger, happier and more comfortable in your own skin.
Looking after yourself shouldn't feel like another job on your to do list. It should give you more energy, more enjoyment and more time for the things you love.
How good could life be then?
Why work with me?
I love this stuff. Seriously. I can get ridiculously excited talking about what happens when we start looking after ourselves properly.
There's something incredible about the difference a good night's sleep, nourishing food and moving your body can make. That fizzy, buzzing feeling when you've got energy to spare, you're in a brilliant mood and the little things that would normally drive you mad barely register. Life hasn't necessarily changed, but the way you feel about it has.
What fascinates me is just how much influence we can have over our own wellbeing through these everyday things. Yet somewhere along the way, looking after ourselves has become incredibly complicated.
We're surrounded by advice. There's a new diet, fitness trend or miracle morning routine around every corner. We have more information at our fingertips than ever before, but knowing what we should be doing and actually making it happen are two very different things.
That's why I love bringing coaching together with my knowledge of movement, food and behaviour change.
As a qualified personal trainer, life coach and, with an additional qualification in nutrition, I love understanding how our bodies work. What makes us tick, why we do the things we do, why good intentions don't always turn into action and how we can make looking after ourselves something we genuinely enjoy.
I don't believe there's one perfect way to eat, exercise or live. You don't have to join a gym, follow somebody else's meal plan or overhaul your entire life to feel better. What works brilliantly for one person might be completely wrong for another.
I want to help you understand your own body, reconnect with what feels good for you and discover how much better life can feel when you start giving yourself the attention you deserve.
When you feel good in yourself, everything else feels a little brighter.
How Wellbeing Coaching works
We'll have six one-to-one online coaching sessions together, each lasting an hour, spread over approximately 12–16 weeks. We'll explore your wellbeing through three things that have a huge influence on how you feel: mindset, meals and movement.
First, let's get acquainted.
Once you've purchased your coaching package, I'll send you a welcome pack with everything you need to know, and a few prompts to get you thinking before we meet.
A personalised approach
You'll receive my bespoke Wellbeing Workbook, which we'll work through together. Before each session, you'll have a section to explore at your own pace, giving us plenty to get stuck into when we meet.
It's not a checklist of things you're supposed to be doing. It's a place to explore what works for you, make discoveries and keep track of what you're learning about yourself.
Then we put it into practice.
This is where things get interesting. We'll use what we're discovering to find ways of eating, moving and sleeping that suit your life. I'll share my knowledge, ideas and practical resources where they're useful, and you'll have the chance to try things out between sessions.
Some things will work brilliantly. Others won't. That's all part of discovering what feels good for you.
Making it yours.
As we go, we'll build a picture of what looking after yourself means for you. Not somebody else's rules or a routine that only works when life is quiet, but an approach you understand, enjoy and can adapt as life changes.
And we're not quite finished.
Around 8 - 12 weeks after our final session, we'll have a catch-up to see how you're getting on, celebrate what's working and talk through anything you'd like to revisit.
If you’re ready to feel more alive, I would love to work with you.
Once you’ve purchased your coaching package. I’ll be in touch by email with your welcome pack and details of how to arrange our first session.
